A tire gives us all its support
And takes us where we want to be.
It is always there for us
Dependable, reliable as we need.
But it can only give so much
And it starts to get tired and worn.
It goes bald and loses traction
It gives 'till it can give no more.
We don't pay any attention to it
But we trust it to always be there.
We take everything from it and give little
I have to stop and wonder, is that fair?
When it has given all it can give,
We replace it, tossing it to the side.
Used plum up than discarded as trash
Now, I ask you who was taken for a ride?
