                        Here I sit
                        Pen in hand
                        Searching for words
                        My heart is quiet, sated, full
                        My mind hears only you
                        My eyes see only you
                        My pen lays still
                        No confusion
                        No pain
                        The need eased
                        The beast slumbers

                        Here I sit
                         pen in hand
                        I smile and enjoy the peace
