The thoughts keep churning
my mind always turning
wondering about one thing or another
wanting to know all that I can
looking at issues from every angle
pondering the mysteries life sets before me
trying to answer the questions I hear
seeking the knowledge
Of what?
I know not
Yet still I search
constantly learning
listening
absorbing
debating with others
take opposite positions
to learn different outlooks
others opinions
digest their words
weigh thier arguments
the stimulation of conversation
the arousal of the printed word
Knowledge is power so i have heard
I don't seek power
I seek to learn
to be able to pass along what I know
to those that I meet
and help them grow
to satisfy the hunger that burns within me
this unending need
the desire to know
